Choose your chips
Select a wood to complement your finished cocktail. Add a small pinch to the mesh screen in your SmokeTop. These are refill chips; a smoker, torch, and fuel are separate unless you buy a bundle.

Light over the glass
Rest SmokeTop on a compatible glass and light the chips with your torch, following the torch manufacturer’s instructions. The underside grooves allow airflow as smoke moves into the glass.

Lift and enjoy
Smoke transfers on contact. Lift SmokeTop and enjoy the aroma with your drink; no fixed capture time is needed. Let the screen and spent chips cool before cleaning or refilling.

Due to shipping restrictions, butane cannot be shipped internationally. We recommend purchasing butane locally in your country.
Each SmokeTop is designed for 500+ uses with proper care. The screens will need occasional replacement (5 replacement screens included).

Hand washing is recommended to maintain the device's finish and extend its lifespan. Simply rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly.
Start with 5-10 seconds of smoking time using Middleton Mixology's signature process. You can always add more, but you can't take it away. Adjust based on your preference and the wood chip variety.
The SmokeTop sits above the drink (not in it) with patented twin-tail airflow for clean contact smoking. It's bartender-designed, American-made, and built for professional durability.
We recommend using our food-grade wood chips for safety and optimal flavor. Other chips may contain chemicals or produce inconsistent results.
