We're a small company doing something we genuinely love — building tools that working bartenders and serious home enthusiasts actually use.
Who we are
Middleton Mixology was started by a bartender who wanted to share something he loved about professional cocktail craft with people at home. That origin shapes how we work: we care about the product deeply, we care about our customers deeply, and we believe that quality craftsmanship — in what we make and how we run the company — is worth the extra effort.
We're a lean team, which means everyone has real ownership over meaningful work. There's no organizational distance between an idea and execution. If you see something that could be better, you can help make it better. That directness is something we protect deliberately as we grow.
Our values
We value craft — the kind of attention to detail that makes the difference between a good product and a great one. We value honesty, both in how we communicate with customers and how we communicate with each other. We value durability — in products, in relationships, and in ideas. We'd rather build something that lasts than something that's impressive for a moment.
We also value fun. We make cocktail smoking equipment. The products end up at dinner parties, bar programs, and celebrations. The context for our work is inherently social and joyful, and that spirit carries through how we approach the work itself.
Current openings
We are not actively hiring at this time. We're a small, intentional company and we grow our team carefully, adding people when we've identified a specific need rather than hiring for growth's sake.
That said, we hear from the right people at unexpected times, and we keep track. If you're passionate about cocktail culture, premium product development, or e-commerce and you want to be considered for future roles, send us a note.
Speculative applications
We welcome speculative applications from people whose work genuinely aligns with what we're doing. The best way to get our attention is to show us something: a body of work, a specific idea relevant to our products or marketing, or a clear and honest articulation of what you'd bring to the team.
We'll read what you send and we'll reply, even if there's nothing available right now. If you're someone we'd want to work with, we want to know you exist.
Send speculative applications to [email protected].
